I can hardly believe my eyes. I’ve never seen a daisy perform like that, such beauty!

I ordered and planted a sweep of ‘Daisy May’ in a new bed this spring after seeing Laura use these. The first year growth has been impressive along with the continuous blooming. I used Biotone when planted and also deadhead about once a week. Next year I plan to replace some of my older shasta daisies with ‘Daisy May’.

I love these “plant spotlight” videos. Thank you!

Those are sensational! I love the compact, round shape. For some reason every time i try to plant daisies, I get tall lanky ones instead of these nice mounding type. Maybe I will try these next year if I can find them. Sometimes it’s difficult to find the Proven Winners varieties here.

Daisies are my absolute favorite! When you talked about the Daisy May, 2yrs ago, I got my hands on some & haven’t had great success😔! However, I will not be deterred, & am encouraged by your amazing & beautiful display 😍💚thx Laura!

Daisy flowers

The daisy (Bellis perennis), also called perennial daisy, perennial daisy, Maßliebchen, Tausendschön, monthly rose or in Swiss Margritli (“small marguerite“) is a plant species within the daisy family (Asteraceae). Since it grows on almost every meadow, it is one of the most famous plant species in Central Europe.

The daisy is a perennial, herbaceous plant that usually reaches heights of 4 to 15 (2 to 20) centimeters. There are fibrous roots on the short, upright rhizome.

The leaves standing together in a dense rosette are divided into a petiole and a leaf blade. The winged petiole is at least as long as the leaf blade. The simple leaf blade has only one middle nerve, is spatulate to obovate, 6 to 40 millimeters long and 4 to 20 millimeters wide. (Source: Wikipedia)
